This is Corporal Kevin Day of the North Cowichan Duncan RCMP. Police and Crimestoppers are asking for your help in solving the following crime. During the early morning hours of Wednesday September 16th, 2009 there were two incidents of vandalism that occurred in the downtown area of Chemainus, BC. The first incident involved the rear window of Gringo's Burritos on Willow Street which was smashed by an unknown culprit. The second incident involved vandalism to the Chemainus Municipal sign at Waterwheel Park. The sign is carved and it had been newly refinished. The head to one of the carvings on the sign had been knocked off.
