On April 3rd The North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP received a report of a break and enter to Bluecoast Safety on the 3000 block of Allenby Road.  The Break In had occurred sometime during the night.  Once inside the culprits stole several items including the following.

STOLEN: steel toe work boots, high visibility jackets and coveralls, flashlights, hearing protection, respirators, flame retardant jackets and coveralls, harnesses other rescue equipment and first aid supplies.  The estimated value of the stolen items is in the tens of thousands of dollars.  

 

The items are readily identifiable as rescue and first aid equipment.

 

The police are actively investigating this break and enter and are asking for the assistance of the general public in solving this crime.  Anyone with information on the break in is asked to call the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at (250)748-5522 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.  Callers will remain anonymous and can qualify for cash rewards.
