June 1, 2011 - Vandalism
 On June 1st ,2011 the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP were called to investigate a vandalism complaint at Metro Toyota just north of Duncan on the Trans Canada Highway. At approximately 2:50 am two Caucasian males were seen smashing car windows and denting vehicles at the car dealership.
 
One of the suspect males was described as approximately 19 years of age wearing a black hoodie and carrying a plastic bag. Before police arrived on scene the males were reported to have left eastbound toward Bell McKinnon Road. 
 
The police are actively investigating and are asking for the assistance of the general public in solving this crime.  Anyone with information on the break in is asked to call the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at (250)748-5522 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.  Callers will remain anonymous and can qualify for cash rewards.
