May 16th, 2011 - Mischief and Damage
On May 16th, 2011 the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP were called to investigate a significant mischief and damage to property on a construction site off Belvedere Road near Duncan.
 
It was discovered that an unknown individual or individuals accessed or damaged most of the vehicle on the construction site and also used one of the excavators to topple a compactor and further damage a bulldozer by dumping trees and debris it. Extensive damage was also done to the roadway under construction and damage is estimated to be in the tens of thousands of dollars.
